PANTOPIX celebrates 10-year anniversary and continues to grow

We are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year – a lot has happened since the company was founded: in the company and in technical documentation.

A brief review of the company’s history: PANTOPIX was founded in 2012 by Karsten Schrempp. He advises and supports customers from the field of technical documentation in optimizing their information processes for the provision of product information. In order to provide customers with comprehensive support and to be able to offer system implementations from a single source in addition to consulting, analyses and data modeling, PANTOPIX works more closely with various network partners. At the beginning of 2021, the intensive, long-standing collaboration with axxepta solutions will become a merger of the two companies. Karsten Becke and Maximilian Gärber bring technical expertise with the implementation and integration of systems to PANTOPIX. As partners, two other experienced consultants strengthen the team at the top. Dr. Martin Ley, professor for information management at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, contributes his know how in information modeling as a consultant and brings the latest scientific findings into customer projects. Dr. Stefan Bradenbrink is largely responsible for the Service Knowledge and Service Processes area. As managing directors, Karsten Schrempp and Karsten Becke are responsible for the consulting and implementation divisions.

The combined expertise of all partners ensures further major projects in the field of knowledge and information management. At the beginning of this year, a team of 12 consultants, technical consultants, software developers, marketing and HR experts moved into another location in Lindau on Lake Constance in addition to the headquarters in Bodnegg near Ravensburg.

With the growth of recent years, we are very excited to offer two apprenticeships in office management and information technology for the first time this year, giving junior staff the chance to learn and grow in this innovative work environment. This is an exciting and important task that our colleague Franziska Schrempp is already looking forward to. While topics and semantic information models were still uncharted territory 10 years ago, today it is impossible to imagine technical documentation and our daily work without them. They form the basis of intelligent information provision. Knowledge graphs help us to bring together information from different content silos. Information thus becomes explicit knowledge by means of networking through knowledge graphs.
