At NORDIC TechKomm, international experts will once again meet in Stockholm on March 6 and 7 to discuss trends and current topics in the field of technical communication. The focus will be on the ‘Possibilities and Pitfalls of the Machinery Regulation’. It brings together all professionals with an advanced level of knowledge in technical communication – technical writers, information developers, technical communication managers and content architects.

The aim of NORDIC TechKomm is to provide participants with real, practical skills alongside new theoretical approaches to intelligent information for users. The workshops offer innovative opportunities to further develop participants’ skills for their daily work in technical communication. It is the ideal platform to share best practices and expand your international network.

Metadata was yesterday? Not at all. Despite the hype surrounding ChatGPT, machine learning and the like, metadata is by no means obsolete. With metadata, we are laying the foundations today for tomorrow’s applications – be it in a Component Content Management System or for a Content Delivery Portal. But what exactly are metadata in the first place? How do the first basic steps of metadata modeling look like? And what can go wrong? We use specific examples to explore the world of metadata: What different metadata classes are there? What values can they have? What are the dos and donts of metadata modeling?
