Product Information Management Systems Powered by Knowledge Graphs
The industry relies on product information management (PIM) systems to create, manage and distribute product information across multiple channels. Traditional PIM platforms encounter numerous problems due to the complexity of product portfolios and the increasing heterogeneity of data sources. In addition, there is a need to compare competitors’ product offerings with the current product offering to gain market and portfolio intelligence. Other problems include the inconsistent data quality and tedious manual workflows that sales managers face when there is no central source of truth. This leads to inefficiencies in accessing the required product data by business departments, which is detrimental to decision making and competitiveness. Exploring possible solutions to these challenges has led us to develop PIM systems based on knowledge graphs for our industrial customers.
