From April 6 to 7, the tekom Spring Conference will once again take place on site in Potsdam. Under the focal theme “User Experience – the ‘New Normal’?”, participants can once again look forward to an exciting program of 60 specialist presentations, tutorials, and workshops on technical communication. There will be many opportunities for knowledge transfer through experts and for professional development. We are pleased to be represented this year with an exciting specialist presentation. In their presentation, Dr. Stefan Bradenbrink and Maximilian Gärber, both partners and senior consultants at PANTOPIX, will provide a brief overview of schema languages with a special focus on Schematron. As a participant, you will learn about the benefits and fields of application of various schema languages. In the short introduction to Schematron, you will receive a practical overview of the possibilities of Schematron and an initial insight into its syntax.

We present an overview of the relevant schema languages, their strengths and limitations, with a focus on Schematron. In a brief introduction, we show the possibilities of Schematron and Schematron Quick Fixes. Concrete application examples from projects in various industries demonstrate the benefits and applications of Schematron / Schematron Quick Fixes.
