We are celebrating our 10th anniversary this year – a lot has happened since the company was founded: in the company and in technical documentation.
A brief look back at the company’s history: PANTOPIX was founded in 2012 by Karsten Schrempp. He advises and supports customers in the field of technical documentation in optimizing their information processes for the provision of product information. PANTOPIX works increasingly closely with various network partners in order to provide customers with comprehensive support and, in addition to consulting, analyses and data modeling, also offer system implementations from a single source. At the beginning of 2021, the intensive, long-standing collaboration with axxepta solutions will become a merger of the two companies. Karsten Becke and Maximilian Gärber bring technical expertise in the introduction and integration of systems to PANTOPIX. As partners, two other experienced consultants round off the team at the top. Dr. Martin Ley, Professor of Information Management at Munich University of Applied Sciences, contributes his expertise in information modeling as a consultant and brings the latest scientific findings to customer projects. Dr. Stefan Bradenbrink is mainly responsible for the area of service knowledge and service processes. As managing directors, Karsten Schrempp and Karsten Becke are responsible for the consulting and implementation divisions.
The combined expertise of all partners ensures further major projects in the field of knowledge and information management. At the beginning of this year, our 12-strong team of consultants, technical consultants, software developers, marketing and HR experts moved into a new location in Lindau on Lake Constance in addition to our headquarters in Bodnegg near Ravensburg.
With the growth of recent years, we are very much looking forward to offering two apprenticeships in office management and information technology for the first time this year, giving the next generation the chance to learn and grow in this innovative working environment. This is an exciting and important task that our colleague Franziska Schrempp is already looking forward to.
While topics and semantic information models were still uncharted territory 10 years ago, today it is impossible to imagine technical documentation and our daily work without them. They form the basis of intelligent information provision. Knowledge graphs help us to bring together information from a wide variety of content silos. Information is thus transformed into explicit knowledge through the networking of knowledge graphs.
More and more companies are seeing the need to break down their information silos, optimize internal processes and make their company-wide data available intelligently in order to be more efficient and even open up new business models.
In order to meet the increasing demands of our customers and to be able to continue to implement innovative projects, PANTOPIX will continue to grow this year and is looking for reinforcement in the areas of consulting and implementation. We are looking forward to new colleagues and challenges in existing and upcoming projects. The journey can continue!
