Fischertechnik model factory: Simulation for Industry 4.0

PANTOPIX intensifies its collaboration with Munich University of Applied Sciences and is involved in the “Fischertechnik Industry 4.0 Simulation” project.

The aim: to use simulation for Industry 4.0 to implement forms of intelligent information provision in a showcase.

The Fischertechnik model factory can normally be used to simulate scenarios for Industry 4.0. However, factory simulation can also help to simulate modern information management scenarios.

Together with various project partners, different “use cases” are successively “tested” on a small but realistic project. This gives HMU students an insight into the various facets of information creation and provision. On the other hand, the simulation also shows interested company representatives the various possibilities – not just in theory, but on a real object!
