13. August 2025
From 11 to 13 November, Europe’s largest conference for technical communication will once again take place in Stuttgart – from AI and terminology to law, standardization and UX. The tekom annual conference brings together cross-industry participants, speakers, students and exhibitors in technical communication from all over the world.
We are very much looking forward to being an exhibitor again this year. Visit us at our stand 2F25 – the PANTOPIX team is looking forward to talking to you. We look forward to shaping the digital future of your company with you and making your company-wide data available intelligently. Together with you, we will develop the right content strategy for your company.
This year, we are very much looking forward to the panel discussion on artificial intelligence (AI) in technical communication with members of the Component Content Alliance. Together, they will talk about the intelligent provision of content – the user revolution – and customer experiences.
We are also looking forward to giving a few more presentations at the tekom annual conference – and will once again be giving a presentation at the Technology Day as a sponsor.
We look forward to welcoming you to our stand at the annual conference soon. Make sure you get your
Early Bird Ticket for the tekom annual conference.
Our expert presentations
The KAESER Knowledge Hub: the guide to the world of compressed air
11.11.2025 | 11.15-12.00 | Room C7.2
Karsten Schrempp
The initial situation: Many isolated, ambiguous and unmonitored silos with product information relating to compressed air. The vision: access to the required knowledge at the touch of a button. The first result: the KAESER Knowledge Hub.
The aim of the current expansion stage is not only to find product data, but also to be able to compare it. Anyone thinking of a standard application here is mistaken. The product data had to be rewritten, enriched and consolidated into a knowledge graph. The specially developed user interface, the KAESER Navigator, grants the various users access to the information they need in their current context: worldwide and authorization-controlled.
The presentation highlights key aspects of this project and also addresses typical challenges – with the aim of providing suggestions on how to design the guide through your own product world.
Panel | CCA Panel: Intelligent content delivery – revolutionizing the user and customer experience
11.11.2025 | 17.30-18.15 | Plenum 1
Ulrike Parson, André Schlotz, Harald Stadlbauer and Karsten Schrempp
CCA (Component Content Alliance) is organizing a panel on the user experience of intelligently provided information at the tekom annual conference.
In an age of infinite choice and short attention spans, how can we deliver content that captivates and persuades? Join our panel discussion and learn more about the future of intelligent content systems – based on AI, shaped by psychology and driven by data.
From hyper-personalized recommendations to real-time customization, we explore how intelligent delivery increases customer satisfaction, strengthens customer loyalty and manages the balancing act between privacy and ethics.
What metrics should be chosen here to make delivery measurable? Is this the golden age of user experience – or a gilded cage for engagement?
Intelligent provisioning needs intelligent structures – metadata for chat & agent systems
11.11.2025 | 17.30-18.15 | Room 5.2/3
Maximilian Gärber, PANTOPIX and Jan Grüter, gds
Will metadata soon be a thing of the past? The rapid progress of generative AI could give this impression – but the opposite is the case. In our presentation, we will show how metadata in combination with knowledge graphs play a central role in the quality, consistency and traceability of AI-generated content.
We explain what types of metadata there are, how they are recorded, maintained and distributed – and why semantic technologies such as ontologies and taxonomies are indispensable.
They unfold their full potential particularly in the context of providing information via chat interfaces: metadata makes it possible to provide content in a context-sensitive, structured and dialog-oriented way – as intelligent access to existing knowledge.
An outlook shows how agent systems can proactively and intelligently control information flows in the future and change technical communication in the long term.
Workshop: Think smaller! The path from document to topic
12.11.2025 | 11.15-13.00 | Room C4.3
Sofia Darie and Dr. Martin Ley
If you’re not afraid to lend a hand, this workshop is just the thing for you! Documents are a thing of the past – long live topic orientation!
In this workshop, we will work out together what it means to capture content in a topic-oriented way. We will look at different topic types and consider which metadata should be assigned to them. Of course, we will try this out using concrete examples, although a bit of theory is also part of the process. We will also discuss whether editorial guidelines are still necessary in the age of AI and the like.
There’s definitely an AI for that!
13.11.2025 | 14.00-14.45 | Room C 5.1
Dr. Martin Ley and Jonathan Schrempp
Do you also ask yourself how the process surrounding your technical information can be optimized? Have you ever found yourself saying that there must be an AI for this or that problem?
In our presentation, we will show you what potential we see for technical communication – along the entire information creation and use process, from research and creation to the provision and use of information. We will focus on various data and knowledge engineering technologies and applications. However, we do not conceal the fact that “conventional” methods lead to very acceptable results for one or the other increase in potential.
