PANTOPIX Planting Action 2026: Working Together to Promote Biodiversity in the Hop Field

Following our tree-planting event last year, the motto this time around was once again: out of the office and into nature. Instead of keyboards and computer screens, shovels and soil were on the agenda. With perfect planting weather and a great atmosphere, we gathered at the hop field of “Landwirtschaft Baumann” near Tettnang.

Together, we planted about 100 plants along the posts of two hop trellises. In the future, the wild grapevines and hydrangeas will not only add greenery to the area but, more importantly, provide a home for beneficial insects – even when the hops aren’t growing. This way, the field remains vibrant all year round and is put to good use.

We were particularly pleased to be working again with the local farmer, who switched his farm to organic farming several years ago and supports such initiatives with genuine conviction. It is precisely these kinds of partnerships that make our initiatives so valuable to us.
