The tekom Spring Conference will take place from May 5 to 7 – now for the second time exclusively online. This year’s Spring Conference focuses on the evolution of technical communication: virtual, interactive, and participative. More than 50 presentations will be offered at the conference, exhibitors from the field of technical communication will be available for contact in the showroom, and there will also be many opportunities for exchange with companies and participants.

Our Senior Consultant and Professor at Munich University of Applied Sciences, Dr. Martin Ley, will give a presentation together with Dr. Matthias Gutknecht, Business Development Manager at STAR AG, on the topic of added value in service: iiRDS as a basis for company-wide semantic information management. iiRDS is an excellent entry point into semantic information management. The speakers show how this standard can unfold its service-strategic potential. They demonstrate how it can be extended by product-specific (classification) features and additional types of information and implemented in a company-wide knowledge graph. In addition, the underlying linked information is semantically marked up with precision.
