gdslive 2025 will take place on May 14 in Düsseldorf and offers you the key to fresh perspectives, practical know-how and sustainable solutions in technical communication. After the successful online format in 2024, which met the special economic challenges and limited travel options, the event is now returning in person!

Using metadata correctly use

Will metadata soon be a thing of the past? The advance of AI (also in technical communication) could give this impression. But in our opinion, the opposite is the case. In our presentation, we will discuss what metadata is and what types of metadata there are. We will examine so-called knowledge representation models in order to illustrate the role of metadata for the provision of information (keyword chat). We address how metadata is automatically distributed and how existing content is automatically classified based on metadata – so that you can get the most out of our metadata!
