November 11 - 13 | tekom Jahrestagung 2025

From 11 to 13 November, Europe’s largest conference for technical communication will once again take place in Stuttgart – from AI and terminology to law, standardization and UX. The tcworld conference brings together cross-industry participants, speakers, students and exhibitors in technical communication from all over the world.

We are excited to be exhibiting again this year. Visit us at our stand 2F25 – the PANTOPIX team is looking forward to talking to you. We would be happy to shape the digital future of your company with you, talk to us about how we can get the full potential out of your data together. We will take you to the next level and offer intelligent solutions for technical communication.

This year, we are very much looking forward to the panel discussion on artificial intelligence (AI) in technical communication with members of the Component Content Alliance. Together, they will discuss the intelligent delivery of content – revolutionising user and customer experiences.

We are also delighted to be present at the tekom annual conference with several other presentations – and will once again be sponsoring Technology Day with a presentation.

We look forward to welcoming you to our stand at the annual conference soon. Secure your early bird ticket for the tekom annual conference by 14 October.

The KAESER Knowledge Hub: Your guide to the world of compressed air
11.11.2025 | 11.15 to 12.00 am
Karsten Schrempp

The starting point: numerous isolated, ambiguous and unmonitored silos containing product information relating to compressed air.
The vision: access to the required knowledge at the touch of a button.
The first result: The KAESER Knowledge Hub.
The goal in the current expansion phase is not only to find product data, but also to be able to compare it. Anyone who thinks of a standard application here is mistaken. This is because the product data had to be rewritten, enriched and consolidated into a knowledge graph. The specially developed user interface, the KAESER Navigator, gives different users access to the information they need in their current context: worldwide and authorisation-controlled.
The presentation highlights key aspects of this project and also addresses typical challenges – with the aim of providing inspiration on how to design a guide through your own product world.

Podium | CCA Panel: Intelligent Content Delivery – Revolutionising the User and Customer Experience
11.11.2025 | 5:30–6:15 pm | Plenum 1
Ulrike Parson, Kees van Mansom, André Schlotz, Harald Stadlbauer and Karsten Schrempp

CCA (Component Content Alliance) is organising a panel discussion on the user experience of intelligently delivered information as part of the tekom annual conference.
In an age of endless choices and short attention spans, how can we deliver content that captivates and convinces? Join our panel discussion and learn more about the future of intelligent content systems – based on AI, shaped by psychology and driven by data.
From hyper-personalised recommendations to real-time customisation, we explore how intelligent delivery increases customer satisfaction, strengthens customer loyalty and masters the balancing act between data protection and ethics.
Which metrics should be chosen here to make delivery measurable? Is this the golden age of user experience – or a gilded cage for engagement?

Intelligent provision requires intelligent structures – metadata for chat and agent systems
11.11.2025 | 5.30 to 6.15 pm
Maximilian Gärber, PANTOPIX and Jan Grüter, gds

Will metadata soon be a thing of the past? The rapid progress of generative AI might give that impression – but the opposite is true. In our presentation, we will show how metadata, in conjunction with knowledge graphs, plays a central role in the quality, consistency and traceability of AI-generated content.
We will explain the different types of metadata, how they are collected, maintained and distributed – and why semantic technologies such as ontologies and taxonomies are indispensable in this process.
They unfold their full potential especially in the context of providing information via chat interfaces: Metadata enables content to be provided in a context-sensitive, structured and dialogue-oriented manner – as intelligent access to existing knowledge.
An outlook shows how agent systems can proactively and intelligently control information flows in the future and change technical communication in the long term.

Workshop: Think smaller! The path from document to topic
12.11.2025 | 11:15 to 1:00 pm
Dr Martin Ley and Sofia Darie

If you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, this workshop is just right for you! Documents are a thing of the past – long live topic orientation! In this workshop, we will work together to figure out what it means to capture content in a topic-oriented way. We will look at different topic types and consider which metadata should be assigned to them. Of course, we will test this using concrete examples, although a little theory is also involved. We will also discuss whether editorial guidelines are still necessary in the age of AI and co.

There must be an AI for that!
13.11.2025 | 2:00 to 2:45 pm
Dr Martin Ley and Jonathan Schrempp

Do you also wonder how the process surrounding your technical information can be optimised? Have you ever found yourself saying that there must be an AI for this or that problem? In our presentation, we will show you the potential we see for technical communication – along the entire information creation and usage process, from research and creation to the provision and use of information. We will focus on various data and knowledge engineering technologies and applications. However, we will also acknowledge that ‘conventional’ methods can lead to very acceptable results for some potential improvements.

Technology Days

The integration of technical documentation in Product Information Management Systems powered by Knowledge Graphs and LLMs
29.10.2024 | 14.50 Uhr
