easychat: AI-supported knowledge assistant in easybrowse - powered by PANTOPIX SPHERE
Sassenberg, 7 April 2025 – gds and PANTOPIX are strengthening their partnership and bringing artificial intelligence to technical communication: easychat will add a dialogue-oriented assistance function to the easybrowse content delivery portal. The technical basis is provided by chatAssist, which was developed as part of PANTOPIX SPHERE and will be integrated into easybrowse by gds. In future, users will benefit from AI-supported access to company-wide product knowledge – quickly, precisely and in natural language.
Ask naturally, get precise answers
easychat enables a new form of interaction with product information. Users ask their questions in natural language – the system provides contextualised, comprehensible answers based on the content from easybrowse. The underlying solution, chatAssist, combines modern language models (LLMs) with structured company knowledge and ensures that information is provided quickly and accurately.

The close integration of Retrieval Augmented Generation (MetadataRAG) with metadata-based specification and the facet search from easybrowse ensures the quality of the answers. This means that information can not only be found more quickly, but also provided more effectively. At the same time, source information ensures maximum transparency.
